Presenter Profile: Nathalie Trudeau
Nathalie Trudeau is acting Director General of the Sustainability Directorate at Environment and Climate Change Canada. Among others, she is responsible for the development of the Federal Sustainable Development Strategy (FSDS) and its progress report, as well as the development and update of the Canadian Environmental Sustainability Indicators (CESI) program.
Prior to joining Environment Canada, she worked for more than five years as energy analyst with the Energy Technology Policy Division of the International Energy Agency. She was responsible for the development and analysis of energy and energy efficiency indicators, including development of methodologies, analysis of current and past energy efficiency trends and potential energy and emissions reduction assessment.
Prior to joining the IEA, she worked for over 10 years on GHG emissions and energy efficiency-related files such as energy efficiency indicators development and analysis, analysis and modelling of Canada’s climate change policies and development of emissions quantification, monitoring and verification protocols and regulations.
