Mrs. Bank Jorgensen is one of the world’s most experienced and renowned sustainability, climate change and ESG advisers.
She brings over 25 years of experience advising global companies and investors within sustainability and climate change. 11 of those years as a partner with PwC in Europe and the U.S. leading the sustainability and climate change practices. She was the creator of the world’s first Green Account and later the world’s first Integrated Report and first holistic supply chain program.
She is a regular keynote speaker and the author of many thought-leading articles and books about sustainability, climate change, the Sustainable Development Goals, and the roles and responsibilities of Board members. She has been interviewed by Bloomberg, Forbes, had an article featured in The West Point Journal, The United States Military Academy and is a regular contributor to GreenBiz.
Helle is a business lawyer and a state-authorized public accountant and was the first in North America to receive Certificate of Achievement for passing the GRI G4 Exam. Apart from serving as the CEO of her Certified Women-Owned Business, as President of Global Compact Network Canada, she is also the chair of the AI company Datamaran, the Treasurer of the Danish Canadian Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Release Council for the Future-Fit Business Benchmark; and Cornerstone Capital Global Advisory Council.She serves at His Royal Highness Prince of Wales Accounting for Sustainability (A4S) Expert Panel and is a Global Board Facilitator for the world’s largest network of responsible businesses, UN Global Compact.

Aparna is a dedicated Corporate Responsibility Professional with over 6 years of international work experience, across Canada, U.K., and India, spanning a broad range of industries. Aparna holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from York University in Toronto, Canada, with a specialization in Corporate Social Responsibility and a Bachelor’s Degree also from York University in International Development Studies and Anthropology.
Aparna is the Senior Manager at the Global Compact Network Canada, where she works with senior business leaders from the Canadian Private Sector and Canadian Federal Government to advance the 10 Principles of the UN Global Compact and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Aparna is also a Senior Consultant at B.Accountability where she helps to develop, manage, and deliver sustainability projects. Aparna works directly with the distinguished industry leader, Helle Bank Jorgensen, CEO of B.Accountability and President of the Global Compact Network Canada.
Since the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals, Aparna has worked to inform, inspire and enable the business sector to advance the Sustainable Development Goals and see the strategic opportunities that the goals present. This has resulted in greater engagement with Government, industry leaders, UN agencies, civil society organizations, and is well versed in speaking about the global goals and associated opportunities.
Aparna specializes in Corporate Responsibility Strategy, Sustainable Development Goals, Stakeholder & Government Engagement, Impact Measurement, Evaluation and Reporting, Community Relations, Benchmarking and Government regulations & Compliance.
Aparna is passionate about engaging businesses to create mutually beneficial solutions to complex development challenges in the business environment. In her spare time, Aparna also volunteers with the Foundation of Environmental Stewardship, a youth-led climate change education organization based in Toronto.
